Trade rumors to Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler starts to swirl around the news as of late. He has been linked to many rumored trade deals to different teams. Now, recent reports are saying that the Oklahoma City Thunder could be one possible destination for him.

After Kevin Durant left the team and choose to join the Golden State Warriors last summer, the Thunder are only left with Russell Westbrook carrying the load for them. However, the team is worried that Westbrook will wear out and that could be a sign of disaster for them. Many believed that they should look for an able backup for him and an ideal replacement for Durant.

On the other hand, Chandler has been the subject of trade rumors that floating in the news nowadays. Being a starter last season, Nuggets coaching staff decide to assign him to the second unit that seems to be a demotion for him. Now, the move makes a big buzz about his future with the team.

According to NBA.com, Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler is reportedly seeking a trade due to limited playing minutes he is getting from the team from a reserve role. Though he is now a reserve, his current production of 15.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists is still impressive.

However, he said to be frustrated with the role and wants to maximize his talent as a starter as per stated in the report. His contract with the team will expire after the 2018-2019 season and the Nuggets still owes him around $36 million. But it seems that one team are willing to take the risk and would like to acquire his services.

According to FOXSports, though the Thunder is currently in the 7th spot of Western Conference standing, it doesn't mean that they will cruise easily to the playoffs. And acquiring Wilson Chandler could somehow give them some help to make their final push going to the postseason.

The report also says that Thunder could send a package of point guard Cameron Payne, small forward Kyle Singler, and center Domantas Sabonis to lure the Nuggets to give up Chandler. Though the three mentioned players will add depth on the Nuggets roster, many see that it will also give complication on the rotation.
