Tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET on Sunday Night Football, football fans will be treated to a battle of No. 9's between Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys (5-4) and Drew Brees (6-2) of the New Orleans Saints on NBC in a Week 10 edition of Sunday Night Football. The Saints defense, led by ex-Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, will have to control Romo and Dallas' vaunted passing attack if they're to avoid a second straight loss.  "I love Rob Ryan," Jason Garrett said. "He is a fantastic person. He is a fantastic coach. And has been for a long time."

The Saints defense will be doubling their efforts to try and get Ryan a win against his former team, especially after a crushing defeat against his twin brother, Jets head coach Rex Ryan, one week ago. "Any time a guy gets fired from a spot he's at and he has an opportunity to play them, he wants to prove a point," Saints cornerback Keenan Lewis said. "They know that. We know that."

New Orleans' pass defense is ranked fifth in the NFL, so the Cowboys may shift gears and try to force feed running back DeMarco Murray. That said, despite their ranking the Saints are aware Romo's executing at a high level in 2013.

"I was there three years working with him, and he has improved each year," head coach Sean Payton said. "He's got a very quick delivery. He's very accurate and studies hard. He's a student of the game and likes playing a lot."
