It's July 1, meaning Happy New Year for the NHL.
Friday marks the start of the league's annual Free Agent Frenzy as unrestricted free agents are free to sign where they wish starting at noon.
Though Steven Stamkos ruined some of the fun and suspense by re-signing with the Lightning on an eight-year deal prior to hitting the open market, there is still plenty to look forward to as the NHL's new league year beings.
Top names such as Milan Lucic, Kyle Okposo, David Backes and plenty of others are still on the board entering Friday.
