Stephen Curry Wife: Ayesha, Warriors PG Have Some Fun With MVP Award [PHOTO, VIDEO]

Stephen Curry may love his MVP Award more than his wife -- but at least Ayesha Curry has a sense of humor about it.

Curry was named the first ever unanimous NBA MVP earlier this week, taking the honor home for the second straight season. The point guard is looking to help lead the Warriors back to the NBA Finals and to help Golden State secure its second straight title when all is said and done.

After returning to the court from a sprained knee in Game 4 and setting an NBA record by scoring 17 overtime points against the Trail Blazers, Curry put up 29 points in the series-clinching win in Game 5 against Portland on Wednesday.

The Warriors are headed to the Western Conference Finals, where they will meet either the Thunder or Spurs. Oklahoma City owns a 3-2 series lead against San Antonio and could clinch on its home court on Thursday, while the Spurs hope to force a Game 7, which would be played Sunday.

In their down time, the Currys are having some fun with the MVP Award. Ayesha took to her Instagram and posted about being "replaced" by Curry's new hardware:

The couple has been married since 2011 and dated for three years prior to that. They have two daughters together, Riley, 4, and Ryan, 1. When accepting his award, Curry got emotional and spent a lot of time talking about his wife.

"None of this is possible without you," Curry said, according to People. "You've given me the opportunity to go out here and work as hard as I do, spend the hours I need to do at the gym, during practice, in games, on the road -- all the while holding down the house and doing the little things that keep our family going."

Curry helped lead the Warriors to a record 24-0 start and 73 regular season wins. Now, with the support of his wife, he hopes to add a second championship ring to his second MVP trophy.

"Whether I have a good game or not, you're the same person every single day," he said of his wife. "And that means a lot to me to be able to come home and share life with you. So thank you very much for who you are."
