In the aftermath of the news that former WWE wrestler Joanie "Chyna" Laurer passed away, more details have come out about her final days.

Laurer, 46, was found unresponsive by a friend in her Los Angeles apartment and officially pronounced dead Wednesday evening. After her death, it was revealed that the "Ninth Wonder of the World" was planning on being featured in more adult films.

The former WWE Women's and Intercontinental Champion wrapped up her in-ring career with Vince McMahon's company in 2001 and then was featured in four pornographic films, including "Backdoor to Chyna." She planned on doing more films with Vivid Entertainment prior to her death.

"We were scheduled to meet this week to discuss [future films]," Steve Hirsch, the founder of Vivid, told Page Six. "She was popular and we wanted to work with her again."

Officials are investigating a possible overdose as a cause of death for Laurer, according to TMZ Sports. The former WWE personality has had a history of drug use, which led to the authorities looking into her demons as a possible cause of death.

One of Laurer's friends went to check on her in her Los Angeles apartment when she wasn't seen or heard from for a few days. Her body was discovered in her bed Wednesday and police arrived on the scene around 7:30 p.m.

Though he wasn't able to work with her again, Hirsch was happy to know Laurer and to have the chance to do projects with her when she was alive.

"Chyna was truly one of a kind," he said. "I never heard her say a bad word about anyone and it was amazing to watch her interact with her fans. She thrived on it and loved every minute - and they loved her back. We were looking forward to working with her in the near future. RIP Chyna."

Now, her fans are wondering if she'll make it into the WWE Hall of Fame after she made a public push for an induction last summer.
