Today at 3:45 p.m. ET, Leicester City and Fulham go toe-to-toe in 2013 Capital One Cup action live from The King Power Stadium in the United Kingdom. The game can be live streamed here.
Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has admitted that he's prepared to tinker his lineup heading into this match. Leading scorer David Nugent may be replaced after he left Saturday's game due to illness in the second half and Chris Wood took over for him. Pearson has alluded to Jeff Schlupp and Gary Taylor-Fletcher as options up front as well.
"We'll tweak the starting line-up but that won't weaken us," Pearson told ESPN heading into the fourth-round game with Fulham.
Fulham is coming off of a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Southampton over the weekend.
"Southampton played well," striker Bryan Ruiz told the club's official website. "We had a plan but once they scored the first goal it was difficult to find a way back into the match. They deserved the win but now we have to pick ourselves up and look towards the next match."
Ruiz went on: "After winning two games in a row, we wanted to continue that at Southampton. We weren't able to do it and we were all disappointed with the display. The most frustrating thing was not testing their goalkeeper. We should have done more but Southampton have only conceded three goals this season and they're very strong defensively."
Ruiz, 28, is coming off of back problems and managed to go unscathed through 81 minutes against St. Mary's in his first real test in his recovery.
"Still have some problems with my back and we're working on that," he told the team's website. "It's getting better - hopefully in the next couple of weeks it will be 100 percent."
A lot hangs in the balance as Leicester City and Fulham hit the pitch for fourth-round action at The King Power Stadium in the United Kingdom this afternoon.
