VIKINGS vs GIANTS Watch Live Stream FREE Online & Listen: Week 7 Monday Night Football Live Coverage from New York

Tonight at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN, the winless New York Giants (0-6) will take the field at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey against the Minnesota Vikings (1-4), who will start their third quarterback of the young season. Live stream the game for free here; Giants fans can listen to the game on the radio by tuning in to 101.9 WFAN FM, while Vikings fans can listen in at KFAN 100.3.

Josh Freeman will take snaps for the Vikings tonight with Christian Ponder riding pine and Matt Cassel buried behind him. Once a bright beacon of hope for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Freeman's star dimmed, and his relationship with head coach Greg Schiano deteriorated.

His play suffered as his confidence wilted, and he was eventually released. The Vikes hope they've caught lightning in a bottle with the talented, but inconsistent passer.

"Any time you step into a situation where you're the new guy, there's always kind of an awkward getting-to-know-you phase," Freeman said. "But I think that goes back to the character of this organization just from top to bottom -- a lot of quality people that are dedicated to winning first and foremost. So it's been a smooth adjustment."

Whatever issues Freeman had in Tampa seem to have disappeared to hear Vikes coach Leslie Frazier praise him. "I like the things he's done in his career, along with what he's done since he arrived here with our football team, the time he put in, how well he's adapted to our system," Frazier said. "He's done enough for us to say we want to give him this opportunity, which is something we had in mind when we acquired him. I think now is the time."

Meanwhile, the Giants two-time Super Bowl MVP has had to deal with benching questions of his own. Eli Manning leads the NFL in interceptions, and the spotlight's glare is firmly on him for negative reasons.

"It's not fun playing this game and losing and not feeling like you're helping your team," Manning said. "But it's not going to change the way I treat each day or treat each practice and treat the games. I'm going to compete. I'm going to work hard and do whatever I can do to try to put our team in a situation to win a game."
