Today at 4:05 p.m. ET, the winless Jacksonville Jaguars (0-5) take on the unbeaten Denver Broncos (5-0) live from Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver. The game can be live streamed here. Jaguars fans can hear all the action on WOKV-FM 104.5 while Broncos fans can do the same at 850 KOA.
Peyton Manning is having an unbelievable year for the Broncos, going 150-for-198 (75.8%) for 1,884 yards with 20 touchdowns and one interception. His passing yards and touchdowns currently lead the NFL.
Denver edged out a narrow victory over Dallas in Week 5 by a 51-48 margin, but it comes into this game as the biggest favorite in NFL history. While last Sunday's game was the first close game for the Broncos this year, coach John Fox prefers blowing teams out.
"We don't go into each game trying to see how close we can make it," Fox said per ESPN.
The Broncos 51 points scored in last week's game match the point total for Jacksonville through all five of its games combined so far.
"One thing I've learned is if you fall asleep at the wheel, you wreck," Fox said to ESPN. "Sometimes dealing with prosperity is more difficult than the adversity. Our guys understand that. They understand it's more about the process than the results. They understand it's more about the preparation work which will relate to the performance."
The Broncos have been without suspended linebacker Von Miller (substance abuse) and injured defensive back Champ Bailey (foot), who looks to make his season debut during today's game.
Jacksonville will counter Manning with Chad Henne, who will play in place of injured starter Blaine Gabbert (hamstring).
This season, Henne is 53-for-95 (55.8%) through four appearances for 601 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Henne went 7-for-19 for 89 yards and a score in relief of Gabbert last week after he left the game with a hamstring injury during the team's 34-20 loss to St. Louis.
"As a quarterback, with that comes the responsibility of being a leader," coach Gus Bradley said. "I think our guys are working towards that, but they need to step it up. We feel strongly about both of them, we're going to challenge both of them and they're going to need to step up."
Jacksonville will look to get its running game going against Denver as Maurice Jones-Drew has averaged just 2.8 yards for carry and the Jaguars rank 30th with 58.8 rushing yards per game. Jones-Drew has just one touchdown and 208 yards on 74 carries.
Manning looks to continue his historic season while the Jaguars try and gain their first win by simultaneously handing Denver its first loss as these two teams lock horns this afternoon.
