Tonight at 8:30 p.m. at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, the Steelers (0-2) will try to avoid losing three straight games to start the 2013 season when they host the undefeated Chicago Bears (2-0). The game can be live streamed here for free; Steelers fans can listen to the game on WDVE 102.5, while Bears fans may do the same on 105.9 FM.
The Steelers have been putrid offensively in their first two games, and somewhat bland on defense but safety Ryan Clark isn't ready to sound the alarm.
"Right now, we've got to keep playing," Clark said. "We can't panic and abandon what we have learned. We do have to shore some things up. We do have to be a lot more sound. If we don't, this is going to keep happening."
Ben Roethlisberger has failed to get the passing game in gear with his wide receivers, but he is hoping returning tight end Heath Miller can help open things up.
"Whenever I'm able to play, I think it's unrealistic to think I'm going to come back in midseason form," Miller said. "I haven't played football since last December, so I've been out for a while. With the rules now, you have one day of pads per week. That's not training camp, by any means."
Head coach Mike Tomlin said the Steelers' issues go far beyond the absence of one player.
"There's been a problem with our functioning," Tomlin said. "There's been a problem with our production. There's been a problem with our points. You can point to whatever you want to point to in regards to that, and obviously if the plays aren't working well then we're susceptible to that judgment."
