Floyd Mayweather Vs. Adrien Broner? 'Problem' Moves Camp To Las Vegas, Works Pads With Roger Mayweather [VIDEO]

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is boxing's biggest star and has one of the biggest fights in boxing history coming up in just over a week with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Should "Money" Mayweather get past this hurdle, there could be a clamor to face Adrien "The Problem" Broner down the line.

Broner is a brash, 24-year-old multi-division champion who just took the WBA welterweight strap away from Paulie Malignaggi. He is a controversial figure in the sport, supremely talented but off-putting due to his swagger overload and constant trash talking. He has referred to Mayweather as his "big brother" in the past, while some like Malignaggi consider him a mere imitation of the pound-for-pound king.

Broner has said he wouldn't fight Mayweather due to their close relationship, but recently, his trainer has been mulling moving his top fighters to train in Las Vegas for a while. Broner himself has been seen working the pads with Mayweather's uncle Roger Mayweather-Roger said he was impressed by Broner.

When asked what working with Broner was like, Roger told Examiner.com, "Like working with anybody else. The thing about it is, I thought [he] was small. He's bigger than I thought he was. He ain't that small."

Roger then offered rare praise to the young welterweight when asked if he is someone who can assume a frontline role in keeping the sport in the public consciousness. "I'm sure," Roger replied. "He's a well-schooled kid."

Broner has more tests ahead of him before thinking about boxing's king. He has a tough matchup ahead of him against Marcos Maidana in December, which will be his first time headlining a pay-per-view event. Against Malignaggi, Broner was less impressive than he boasted he would be, accurately pelting Paulie with hard, clean shots but failing to floor the light-hitting champion.

He has also never faced power at welterweight, which Maidana brings to the table. If he can withstand Maidana's thunder, and maybe even manage a knockout, Mayweather could then become a feasible goal down the line.

The question is whether Broner's trying to move into Las Vegas to start getting some inside info on The Money Team for a possible showdown in the future.
