METS vs BRAVES Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Atlanta

The New York Mets (62-75) and Atlanta Braves (85-53) will meet up for the third game of their three-game series today in a 12:10 matinee getaway game in which the Amazins will be trying to avoid a sweep. The game can be live streamed here; Mets fans can hear the action on 101.9 WFAN FM, while Braves fans can switch their radios to 93.7 FM.

Entering this series, the Mets had proved to be Atlanta's toughest National League East foe. The two squads were locked in an 8-8 tie heading into this three game set, but the Braves appear to have figured the Mets out this week. They've taken the first two games of the series, and walloped them 13-5 in Game 1. Today, the Mets will send out Dillon Gee (10-9, 3.63 ERA) to attempt to save face.

The Braves are countering with Kameron Loe (0-1, 6.55 ERA) who last started an MLB in 2007 as a member of the Texas Rangers. Since then, Loe has bounced around a few teams, eventually getting sent down by Atlanta after getting blown up in two relief appearances.

"I ended up talking my way into the starting rotation (in Triple-A)," Loe said. "I wanted to do that so I could work on my changeup, my cutter, a couple other things that I felt like I needed to do, and it gave me a chance to get a lot of repetitions, which is good."

The Braves are handing the ball to Loe in an effort to limit the workload for young pitcher Julio Teheran, so this opportunity is a big one for Loe to prove he can provide big-time value as the slog toward a near-inevitable playoff berth continues.

"If he could give us a good, solid outing, our guys could really use it right now," Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said.
