CUBS vs DODGERS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Los Angeles

The Chicago Cubs (56-76), one of baseball's lower tier clubs at this point in time did what seemed impossible Tuesday night-they managed to get hits and score runs off of Clayton Kershaw, the ace of the Los Angeles Dodgers (77-55). Today, at 3:40 p.m., the two clubs will face off in the rubber match of a three-game series at Dodgers Stadium. Live stream the game here, or catch the Dodgers radio broadcast on 570 Fox Sports L.A., or the Cubs radio broadcast on WGN 720.

The Dodgers have been MLB's hottest team for quite some time now, and they will hand the ball today to Ricky Nolasco (10-9, 3.42 ERA) in the hopes of avoiding a lost series. If the Cubs manage to scrape out a win, it will mean that Los Angeles has dropped two series in a row after going almost two months without losing one.

The Dodgers might be shell shocked from seeing their ace lose a game. "Unfortunately, I couldn't go deeper into the game for our guys, but I was just trying to limit the damage," Kershaw said. The length of his outing was more questionable than the quality. Kershaw only surrendered two runs on the night, one of which was unearned, but he lasted less than six innings for just the third time in 28 starts. The last time he had an outing so short was on April 23rd against the Mets.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly expressed confidence that Nolasco would be able to halt the Dodgers' losing today. "He gets a variety of breaking balls over to get ahead in the count and then he can change speeds," manager Don Mattingly said. "When he gets in a bit of trouble, he has another gear. He doesn't seem to get rattled out there."

The Cubs will counter with Edwin Jackson (7-13, 5.00 ERA).
