Lance Corporal Jarrod Haschert woke up to some of the greatest news of his young life on Tuesday -- he has a date with Ronda Rousey.
Haschert's video went viral last week when he posted it on Facebook as a way to ask Rousey to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball on Dec. 11. The young marine feared that the ball would be right in the middle of Rousey's training for her fight with Holly Holm, but the encounter was moved up from Jan. 2 to Nov. 14, meaning she'd be available for the event.

Things then continued to roll when the reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion said she was all-in.
"Yeah, I'll totally go," Rousey told TMZ, "but, I don't know how to hit him up."

No fear "Rowdy," TMZ contacted Haschert for you and the 22-year-old marine may have looked like he had just woken up, but he surely wasn't dreaming. When the hosts of "TMZ on TV" gave the marine the good news, his eyes lit up.
"Oh my god, no way!" Haschert said when the revelation hit him.
When the host brought up Rousey's stipulation that she wanted dates for her three friends as well, Haschert didn't hesitate.
"I'm pretty sure I can do that," he said with a confident smirk.
Rousey had some other rules, saying Haschert has "gotta be a gentleman" and that she's "not a first date kind of a girl," but the marine said he would be a perfect gentlemen. That doesn't mean this particular soldier doesn't have some swagger.
When asked how his video went viral so quickly, Haschert deadpanned, "I honestly just attribute it to my looks, I guess."
