The New York Jets enter 2015 under a new regime after finishing 4-12 in 2014 en route to sitting on the outside looking in on the NFL playoffs for the fourth straight campaign.

With general manager Mike Maccagnan and head coach Todd Bowles brought in to replace John Idzik and Rex Ryan respectively, the new dynamic duo have plenty of holes to fill, including under center.
With the Jets not getting much production from their quarterbacks in the last few seasons, New York can either continue to hope that Geno Smith develops or look outside through free agency and the draft to fix their needs.

Here are four possibilities for the Jets at the sports' most important position in 2015.
1) Geno Smith: While most Jets fans will sigh at this, there is a possibility that the new regime decides to stick with what they have and further develop the troubled quarterback entering his third season in the league.
Smith, 24, has struggled mightily through his first two campaigns with the Jets throwing more interceptions (34) than touchdowns (25) and has been rattled plenty of times when under pressure.
The former second round (39th overall) pick of the 2013 NFL Draft, threw a pick in all but four games last season, including a disastrous three-interception performance against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8.
Smith may not be the long-term solution, but the new regime may decide to see what it has before going elsewhere.
Smith is 466-for-810 (57.5 percent) in his career for 5,571 yards while going 11-18.
2) Josh McCown: The Jets met with McCown at the NFL combine this week and could end up signing him now that he has been released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Jets have plenty of cap space heading into this offseason and Maccagnan plans to be very active in the market, which could include signing McCown, though they've said they may not be ready to give up on Smith.
McCown, 35, may not be a long-term solution for the Jets, but he could very well be brought in to shore up the position for the next couple of years while New York develops another signal caller to learn behind him.
McCown struggled a bit in 2014, going 184-for-327 (56.3 percent) for 2,206 yards with 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
In his career, McCown is 978-1,664 (58.8 percent) for 11,033 yards with 61 scores and 59 picks.
3) Jameis Winston: The Jets are likely to turn to the draft to bring in a quarterback and could possibly use them to learn under a veteran quarterback such as McCown.
One big name that will be out there come the draft in May is Winston, the former Florida State signal caller.
This is a long-shot for the Jets as it is hard to see Winston falling to the sixth overall pick that New York holds right now.
Most mock drafts see Winston going to the Buccaneers as the first overall pick of this year's draft, though anything could happen come May.
Winston, 21, went 562-for-851 (66.0 percent) for 7,964 yards with 65 touchdowns and 28 interceptions over the past two seasons at Florida State.
Winston won the Heisman Trophy in 2013 after going 257-for-384 (66.9 percent) for 4,057 yards and 10.6 yards per attempt. Winston added 40 scores, 10 picks and a 184.8 rating.
4) Marcus Mariota: There have been plenty of mock drafts that see Mariota falling to the Jets with the sixth pick in the draft.
While Mariota is the only high-profile quarterback in the draft besides Winston, he doesn't come without his question marks.
Many pundits have questioned whether the former Ducks signal caller can transition from the spread offense in Oregon to the style of play in the NFL.
Mariota, 21, went 304-for-445 (68.3 percent) for 4,454 yards with 42 scores and four picks en route to the Heisman Trophy in 2014.
Overall in his college career, Mariota went 779-for-1,167 (66.8 percent) for 10,796 yards with 105 scores compared to just 14 picks in three years.
The Jets are looking to turn things around in 2015 and can start by improving their play at quarterback.
