Today at 2 p.m. ET, Major League Baseball will announce its 2015 Hall of Fame Class as Cooperstown hopefuls find out their fate. The event can be live streamed here.

Electees from the Baseball Writers' Association of America will be revealed today and then enshrined in the MLB Hall of Fame in Cooperstown on July 26.

Newcomers to the ballot this year include pitchers Randy Johnson (303 wins), Pedro Martinez (.687 career winning percentage) and John Smoltz (213 wins, 114 saves) along with Gary Sheffield (509 homers) shortstop Nomar Garciaparra (six-time All-Star) and Craig Biggio (3,060 hits).

Biggio enters his third year on the ballot and is hopeful that 2015 is a magical year for him.

"It would mean everything, not for myself, but for the organization, the fans and for my family," Biggio told MLB.com.

Added Martinez: "I'm looking forward to that. There's only so much I can do. As of now, I'm just like you, hoping and waiting to get a chance to make it. I think I should have a shot, but it's not up to me. Like I said, it's not up to me. I can only hope and wait."

Other big names on the ballot include Jeff Bagwell, Mike Piazza, Barry Bonds, Curt Schilling, Jeff Kent, Roger Clemens, Edgar Martinez, Carlos Delgado, Don Mattingly, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire and Larry Walker.
