Last summer 15-year-old Danielle Sampson, a high school athlete riding in her parents' minivan was shot by a stray bullet when gunfire erupted during the robbery of an illegal brothel in Pine Hills, Florida that has been linked to Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson, Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, and former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker, according to Deadspin.com.

Tyrone Mosby, a gang member, was convicted of attempted murder in March with regards to the shooting, and key evidence was attained by prosecutors thanks to help from Sims-Walker, who last played in the NFL two years ago. Chester "Chad" Joseph was a key witness to the shooting, and during a police interview named the three NFL stars in his testimony.

Sergeant David Spall, one of the officers who questioned Joseph, told him that he was not interested in nabbing any NFL players who frequented the house for sex and that he was just trying to solve the shooting. "We can minimize it if we know the truth," Spall said before joking, "Dude, I got Chris Johnson drafted on my fantasy-football team. I don't want nothing ugly coming out of this."

He went on to tell Joseph, "Nobody cares if Chris Johnson, Brandon ... whomever comes to your house to knock boots with a chick. ... Nobody cares if you had ... 500 pounds of prime weed in that house."

All three players are from the central Florida area, according to Deadspin, and Sims-Walker and Marshall were teammates at the University of Central Florida. Joseph claimed to be Sims-Walker's manager and said, "I use their [homes] a lot ... all I was doing was really returning the favor. ... When [the players] come here now, I got somewhere where you can go on and slide you a little chick." He also said that Sims-Walker and Johnson paid him more than $3,000 a month combined.
