Dallas enters play seeking its first victory of the preseason after dropping its opener 27-7 to the San Diego Chargers then following it up with a 37-30 loss to the Baltimore Ravens last Saturday. Miami comes in with a 1-1 exhibition mark after losing to the Atlanta Falcons 16-10 in Week 1 and earning its first victory with a 20-14 triumph over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Saturday.
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo enters 2014 after going 342-for-535 (63.9 percent) for 3,828 yards with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season.
DeMarco Murray led Dallas' ground game in 2013, rushing for 1,121 yards on 217 carries with nine scores while Dez Bryant paved the way with 93 receptions for 1,233 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill enters his third season in Miami after going 355-for-588 (60.4 percent) for 3,913 yards with 24 touchdowns and 17 interceptions in 2013.
One of Tannehill's favorite targets was Brian Hartline, who had 76 receptions for 1,016 yards and four scores. Tannehill will also have Mike Wallace to throw to this season.
Lamar Miller led the rushing game for the Dolphins, carrying the ball 177 times last season for 709 yards while reaching the end zone twice. Miller will likely share reps with import Knowshon Moreno this season.
