Tim Tebow News: Arena Football Nasvhille Venom Receivers Work Out With Former Heisman, Catch 'Tebowmania'? [VIDEO]

Tim Tebow is as serious as ever about making an NFL comeback.

Case and point, the now out-of-work, three-year veteran quarterback was recently in Nashville for a few days and wanted to have a workout but had no receivers to throw to. Within minutes, some of Tebow's people were calling some of Bill Back's people and before you know it the coach of the Nashville Venom Indoor Football League team had at least four of his receivers on the practice field and ready to run routes for the former Florida Heisman Trophy winner.

Donald Trump sees NFL double standard where Tim Tebow concerned

"It was pretty neat," Back told Tennessean.com. "He's just a normal guy, a first-class guy. I'm a big Tebow fan so it was really special for me."

Tebow recently signed on with ESPN to be the face of its new SEC Network, but for the life of him Back can't understand why.

Tim Tebow still chasing NFL dreams

"I can't believe he's not signed somewhere," said Back. "I don't know what the deal is. His passes were right on the money. His arm strength is so good it darn near broke my fingers. And he's still built like a sculpture and in great condition."

Tebow's ESPN deal is rumored to have an out clause that allows him to walk if and when an NFL team comes calling. Tebow last played in the NFL with the Jets in 2013, completing just six passes for 39 yards. Tebow's best season came with Denver in 2011 when he passed for 1,729 yards and 12 touchdowns.
