2013 Review: Another rough season for the Bengal faithful. At some points the Bengals looked like the best team in the AFC, but late struggles ultimately led to a first round exit due to the poor play of Andy Dalton. With Dalton’s contract year coming up the Bengals have some questions that need answering at the quarterback position, but thats next season.

Where Will DeSean Jackson Play in 2014?

Needs:
Defensive End:
Michael Johnson is gone and Margus Hunt was a disappointing rookie. The Bengals could use some line depth and even a starter of Hunt continues his struggle into his sophomore campaign. Carlos Dunlap is a great piece on the other side.

Left Tackle: With Andrew Whitworth moving inside to guard because of the huge injuries to the line, the Bengals could opt to keep him inside. His age is also an issue so being at guard would cut down on damage done to him. The Bengals would love to find a blindside defender of the future in the later rounds and if not Marshall Newhouse is their stop gate.

Cornerback: Terence Newman and Adam Jones are getting up in age and can only continue their good play for so long. Leon Hall has tore his Achilles tendon twice in three years and someday will not be the same player he was. A potential replacement is there the Bengals should be looking in the first round.

Dez Bryant Has Very Strict Rules & Curfews in his Contract

Targets:

Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State
 Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State
 Zack Martin, OT, Notre Dame
 Kony Ealy, DE, Missouri

Best First Round Fit: Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State
Dennard could very well be taken as early as twelfth, but he would not get past the Bengals. He brings the combination of power and agility that corners thrive on and can replace any of the players the Bengals already have. Dennard doesn’t have to start right away and in the end that will help him because he could use a little coaching up.
