2013 Review: The 49ers are getting closer and closer to finally putting together a Super Bowl Championship. For two years now they have knocked on the door only to get bounced by the team of destiny of the season. The 49ers benefit from having to go through the gauntlet in the NFC West and it prepares them for the playoffs. San Fran is one or two players away from finally capping off their incredible talent.

Needs:
Cornerback: The 49ers are pushing for a free agent corner. At the time of this being written corner is still their biggest need with the release of Carlos Rogers. They don’t NEED a big starting corner right away, but it would be nice to get some depth behind Tarell Brown and Tramaine Brock. San Fran could find value later in the draft at corner if they don't sign one soon.

Wide Receiver: San Fran signed Anquan Boldin back from a great season, but more help is needed. Even with Michael Crabtree and Boldin the need for a slot receiver or another receiver in general to eventually replace Boldin necessary. Julian Edelman is visiting the 49ers and would be a nice fit as well for Colin Kaepernick.
Center: With Alex Mack basically available and would be a nice fit for the 49ers, but I don’t think he is in their price range. Jonathan Goodwin is about that age where he will be moving past football and is the weak link of the offensive line at this point. Drafting his heir would be in the teams best interest going forward.
Targets: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State
Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
Odell Beckham Jr., WR, LSU
Carl Bradford, DE/OLB, Arizona State
Travis Swanson, C, Arkansas
First round prediction: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State
Benjamin is a big speedy deep threat that the 49ers need on their roster. Benjamin was great in his red shirt sophomore season for Florida State and was one of Jameis Winston’s favorite targets. Benjamin needs to work on his hands and tops the ball way too often but at 30 overall he is very good value. The 49ers usually “red shirt” their rookies so don’t expect Benjamin to have a huge impact in 2014.
Other Selections Thus Far:
Broncos: Ryan Shazier, LB, Ohio State
Seahawks: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington
