NFL News: New England Patriots' Tom Brady Lists Possible Suspects for Half a Million Super Bowl Jersey Theft

Tom Brady has joined the investigation of the biggest case in New England Patriots history. The five-time Super Bowl champion has compiled a list of possible suspects who could have stolen his half a million worth Super Bowl 51 game worn jersey.

Tom Brady, the celebrated quarterback of the New England Patriots is trying to get to the bottom of his stolen jersey case more than two weeks after the Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons at the Super Bowl. He posted his suspect board on Instagram and one his primary suspects is teammate Julian Edelman.

According to CBS Sports, Tom Brady has a total of 13 suspects. The primary ones, which are real people, include New England Patriots teammate Edelman and singer Lady Gaga. Fictional characters like Gollum from "Lord of the Rings," Pyat Pree from "Game of Thrones," Prison Mike from "The Office," The O'Doyle Family from "Billy Madison" and the clown who stole "Air Bud".

Tom Brady's creepy drawing from the Deflategate Scandal is also suspect along with Jaws, Gary Oak from "Pokemon," Swiper the Fox from "Dora The Explorer," crab people and his own dog named Scooby. Of course, this was all just fun and games for the 39-year-old quarterback but it's a serious case for the Houston Police Department.

The Houston PD has assigned the case to the Major Offenders - Police Impersonator/Swindle Unit, per TMZ Sports. The police have also valued Tom Brady's stolen jersey at a whopping $500,000 and it is more than what the Patriots are paying to four of its players.

The NFL, as well as Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, has also started investigating the theft case. The police report also notes that the crime is a first-degree felony. However, the police still have no leads, developments or suspects. Should they include Roger Goodell because of history with Tom Brady?

Besides the monetary value, Brady's jersey is a piece of NFL history. It was used by the greatest player of all time to win his fifth championship. The game it was used also is historical because the Patriots won it in overtime and they overcame a 25-point lead to beat the Falcons.
