Liverpool: Daniel Agger Signs New Long-Term Contract

Daniel Agger reaffirmed his commitment to Liverpool by signing a new long-term deal with the Anfield club. Agger, who has been with the club since 2006, was linked with summer moves to Manchester City and Barcelona, with the former reportedly having a bid rejected by Liverpool. The Danish international defender, however, said he never thought of leaving Liverpool.
