The Qatar Grand Prix proved brutal for several Formula One drivers, who had to be taken to the circuit's medical center due to the extreme heat on Sunday, October 8.
The conditions at the Lusail International Circuit, with temperatures hovering around 90ºF (32ºC) and humidity at approximately 70%, took a toll on the well-conditioned F1 drivers.
The race ended with several of them experiencing near-collapse, vomiting, and severe dehydration, including Alpine's Esteban Ocon, who revealed that he vomited inside his helmet during lap 15. He called it the toughest of his career.
Williams' Alex Albon required assistance following the race to exit his cockpit. He was transported to the circuit's medical center due to acute heat exposure but was later discharged.
In contrast, his teammate Logan Sargeant faced a more challenging situation. The rookie, who had been feeling unwell even before the race, retired at lap 40 and received treatment for severe dehydration.
Meanwhile, Aston Martin's Lance Stroll claimed he was losing consciousness inside the cockpit due to the weather conditions.

Toughest race for any driver
Scuderia Ferarri's Charles Leclerc was certain that Sunday's race was the toughest for all drivers on the grid in their whole career.
"I don't believe anyone that's says it's not," the 24-year-old added.
Alfa Romeo's Valtteri Bottas remarked that the feeling was "like torture in the car," and a higher temperature would've been dangerous.
