Major League Baseball (MLB) Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. was in attendance during the latest match of Inter Miami. But the baseball great was not there as a spectator.

The 22-year MLB veteran was working as a sports photographer during Inter Miami's MLS fixture against Nashville SC.

Celebrity sights have been usual in recent games of the MLS club due to the arrival of former Barcelona stars Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba from Europe.

Since retiring from baseball in 2010, Griffey has taken up photography as a hobby, snapping shots for the past few years in sporting events such as the NFL Monday Night Football games, various MLB events, including this year's Home Run Derby and an IndyCar event for ESPN, according to The Athletic.

The 53-year-old is widely regarded to be one of the greatest baseball players ever, hitting the seventh-most home runs in MLB history with 630.

Griffey was also seen linking up with boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr. during the MLS game.

Inter Miami held to draw

Inter Miami came out without a win for the first time since Messi's arrival at the club after a goalless draw on Wednesday night against Nashville SC at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

They had previously won the last nine matches, which saw the Argentine icon find the back of the net 11 times.

Inter Miami will travel to Los Angeles to face the defending MLS Cup holders, LAFC, on Sunday at the BMO Stadium.
