Fans will see Israel Adesanya fight before the year ends as reports revealed the Nigerian-Kiwi fighter will fight again at UFC 293.
Barstool Sports affiliate Spinin Backfist announced the Israel Adesanya-Sean Strickland Fight on X, adding that it will take place in Sydney, Australia.
The date is yet to be confirmed, though.
"UFC 293 MAIN EVENT IS HERE
Sean Strickland vs Israel Adesanya will headline #UFC293 in Sydney
only a few small details left to be worked out before being announced."
Adesanya has been chirping with other fighters over the past month.
Many expected him to fight Dricus du Plessis, with whom he is having a racially-charged exchange on X and other media appearances.
However, the South African reportedly did not sign a contract, forcing Israel to turn his attention to Sean Strickland last July 20.
The American instantly agreed to face Adesanya, but only if he gets paid.
Build up to the Adesanya-Strickland fight
A Stylebender bout will not be complete without a fiery exchange between him and his upcoming opponent.
Strickland recently took to X to speak about how he has been fighting on short notice and still get out of those bouts triumphant.
He also used a race card in his tirade, accusing his upcoming opponent of being Chinese.
Adesanya took offense to such remarks and accused Strickland that he has been preparing for five months now for their fight.
