The Israel Adesanya-Dricus du Plessis fight will not happen this year, and the Stylebender is disappointed and outraged.

Adesanya turned to social media to express his anger at Du Plessis for not accepting the fight that has been building up since their racially-charged feud started last year.

"I don't even know how to start this, but Dricus du P-y. You f-ng bitch. 'Oh, all he has to do is put on some gloves. I was ready to go again,'" he said in the video.

"No, you weren't. You're a bitch.

"That's why you're not taking this fight. Your foot's sore. N-a, my knee was jacked two weeks from my last fight. Guess what I did? I showed up. That's what a f-ng champion does. Championship caliber, built different."

With this highly-anticipated match shelved, Adesanya now turned his attention to Sean Strickland, who previously expressed a desire to fight the Nigerian.

"You're out. Strickland, you're in. Let's do the man dance. I'll show you how to really dance."

Du Plessis wanted the fight before

It is not clear yet what happened from the Du Plessis camp or the UFC organization, but many were expecting the Israel Adesanya-Dricus du Plessis fight to get a green light.

Du Plessis also liked the idea of fighting Adesanya, but at that time, he had to fight (and eventually bested) Robert Whitaker.

"He's [Israel Adesanya] faced everybody," the South African said during an interview with Michael Bisping.

"This fight could have happened...We could have had that fight; I know that for a fact. He wanted this fight. I obviously wanted the fight."
