Microsoft fans are getting excited for the much rumored upcoming next-generation hybrid tablet, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. Unhappily, it seems like enthusiasts might have to wait a bit longer before they could order the device.

According to Learn bonds, analysts are sure that October 2017 will see the Surface Pro 5 in the hands of consumers. On the other hand there were outlets that claimed that device would unveil as soon as March but there is enough evidence to anticipate its arrival later on during the year. Chief among these is the next major Windows Creator's Update, which will only be released this Fall. The yearly Windows Event in October will reportedly be the most ideal moment to unveil new gadgets which can flaunt Microsoft's newest software adjustments.

As reported by Droid Report, the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will run Qualcomm's Snapdragon 635 chip. On the other hand, different reports also insist about the Intel's latest Kaby Lake chips. Choosing a Snapdragon 635 processor will help in keeping the battery strong over the 7th gen Intel Core chips and also potentially the addition of LTE for mobile connectivity.

For the specs side, according to PC Advisor, the new Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage capacity, and with a rechargeable Surface Pen too. The upcoming Surface Pro device is also reportedly to feature a USB Type-C support and a vigorous battery.

As reported by TechRadar, the biggest selling factor of Surface Pro 5 is battery. Currently, no one dared to release any specific detail about Surface Pro 5's battery; however, many believe that it could be between 7-9 hours because of different 'sleep and hibernate' modes likely to appear with the Qualcomm processor.

Reader should note that the Microsoft still hasn't confirmed the existence of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. With that being said, it is highly advisable to take these rumors with pinch of salt.
