After rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat in Europe, Samsung has now started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to the Galaxy S6 edge+ devices in India and Sri Lanka. The update is arriving as version G928GDDU3CQC7, which brings along Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Android Nougat 7.0 update is being rolled out over the air (OTA) in India and Sri Lanka. It seems to be a regular update, and in case fans have not gotten the notification yet, they will be getting it very soon. Alternatively, users can also manually check for the update in the Settings menu. Aside from Android Nougat, the update also brings Android security fixes for the month of March, as reported by Sammobile.

According to BGR, the latest Android Nougat update for Galaxy S6 edge+ is about 1GB in size, and users are recommended to download the update over Wi-Fi. Additionally, before the user starts the software installation, the user should check the battery level and ensure it is over 50 percent charged.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update on Samsung Galaxy 6 edge+ will bring all the latest features like split-screen for personalized improvement on the Google keyboard with fixes, multitasking quick settings, enhanced notifications along with Double Tap to switch quickly between two recent apps, plus 'Doze on the Go' battery saver mode, as reported by Goandroid.
