After rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to Galaxy S6 Edge+ devices in Turkey, Samsung is now releasing the Nougat update to the Galaxy S6 Edge+ device in Europe. Galaxy S6 Edge+ users in Europe have reported getting the Android Nougat update.

The update is arriving as build number G928FXXU3CQC2. The update turns the Marshmallow OS to Nougat in S6 Edge+. Update also consist the latest March Android security patch on the device and fixes regular bugs, other than optimizing device performance, as reported by Android Soul.

Once the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ Nougat update is there, users can directly download the package into their device. According to Neowin, the first country who has received the improved version so far is Turkey, which will reach other markets across the world soon.

Once updated to Android 7.0 Nougat OS, Galaxy S6 Edge+ users will get many new features that enhances the UX viz improved menu settings, split window mode, better notifications control, doze mode for better battery performance etc. The Nougat update is being rolled out as an OTA so may take a while to reach your device.
