Smartphone maker Alcatel is having quite a year right now. As the company has launched a number of phones at Mobile World Congress 2017, and now they are back with another device i.e. the Alcatel A30.


The Alcatel A30 is decidedly budget friendly mode, which comes in at less than $100. Not only that, but it also has gesture controls like flip to mute. The device's highlight is that it runs Android 7.0 Nougat.

Alcatel A30 set to be released in April, and it's currently available for pre-order on Amazon Prime, where you can get it at a $40 discount that brings the price of the device to $60.

According to CNET, under the hood Alcatel A30 features a 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, along with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Alcatel A30 also has a microSD card slot, so you can expand the storage by up to 32GB.

On the back side of the phone, there will be an 8MP rear-facing camera, while on the front side; there will be a 5MP front-facing snapper. The Alcatel A30 has 5 inches, 720p display.


As mentioned, the Alcatel A30 is currently available for pre-order as an Amazon Prime exclusive, as is the Moto G5 Plus, and as part of that deal, you will be getting a subsidy. There is a trade-off in the exchange for the subsidy; you'll have to deal with a few extra ads and promotional offers every now and then. You can also get it without the ads and promotional offers, but you will not get the $40 Amazon Prime discount that comes in the form of an Amazon Prime gift card, as reported by Digital Trends

The Alcatel A30 can be purchased from Amazon in both GSM, for AT&T and T-Mobile, and CDMA variants for Verizon. You'll get LTE connectivity in both the situations. The Alcatel A30 will be released April 19.
