It has been only a few days since the information about the unannounced Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) have been in the news. And now it looks like new info about its specs have been emerged online.

After making the rounds at Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) Geekbench which had revealed the phone's hardware configuration, now the Galaxy J5 (2017) has been spotted at GFXBench. In the new set of leaks there is also a new slew of partial specs are listed.

According to information obtained from GFXBench, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) might be an affordable mid-range smartphone which blends low- and mid-end features and specs. Firstly, we've learned the smartphone is said to feature a modest 4.8-inch display with HD (720p) resolution, as reported by Phone Arena.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) will be equipped by an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, which will be paired with a Mali-T830 graphics GPU and 2GB of RAM. Currently we know the device will pack 16GB expandable storage inside and a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Interestingly, Company could have added a similar 12-megapixel camera in the front as well that suggests the smartphone will be aimed at selfie lovers. Both the rear and front camera will record full HD (1080p) videos, but only the one on the back comes with LED flash, India Today Learned.

The GFX listing also reveals that the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) will boast connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. According to listing, the device has an accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor and proximity sensor as well.

As per the GeekBench listing, the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) got 702 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 3437 points. The device is listed on Geekbench with 2GB RAM and 1.59 GHz octa-core processor. The smartphone is based on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

The specs in the GFX listing are similar to the specs revealed in the GeekBench listing. Both the listings carry the model number as SM-J530 of Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017).
