After the launch of the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus at MWC 2017, Huawei has now announced a budget version it, which is Huawei P10 Lite. Device was rumored before and now it is officially launched.

The Huawei P10 Lite has been officially launched in the UK, and is priced at GBP 299. Huawei P10 Lite will go up for pre-orders from the carriers like Carphone Warehouse, EE, and Vodafone, and will go on sale from March 31, as per Pocket-lint.

The Huawei has largely tried to keep the design for the Huawei P10 Lite similar to the P10 flagships, with a 2.5D curved glass on the front and a metal frame. The Huawei P10 Lite will be offered in Midnight Black and Platinum Gold color variants with ceramic sandblasted finish on the back. The notable difference with the budget model is the fingerprint scanner which has moved at the back.

The Huawei P10 Lite will come running on the EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Device sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display, and powered by a 2.15GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 658 SoC with Mali-T830MP2 GPU and 4GB RAM. The Huawei P10 Lite smartphone features with 32GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via a microSD card up to 128GB, as reported by Gadgets360.

According to Android Central, Huawei P10 Lite has a single 12-megapixel rear camera minus the Leica branding that was seen on the P10 and P10 Plus. On the front gets an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. Huawei P10 Lite's camera app also gets the Portrait Selfie mode for bokeh effects.

Huawei P10 Lite sports 3000mAh battery with support for fast charging. Device measures 146.5x72x7.2mm and weighs 142 grams. Connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G LTE, W-iFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC. Additional features include Knuckle Sense that lets you tap and draw on the display using your knuckles.
