The larger battery allowed Oppo to go for a more powerful chipset - a Snapdragon 653 that boasts four Cortex-A72 cores (+ four A53), similar to the top dogs. This kind of setup allows for better thermal management and also contributes to better battery life as the high-performance cores can remain switched off during mundane day-to-day tasks, as reported by Indiatoday.

The SD 635 chipset is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, which is expandable. The Oppo F3 Plus has been priced at INR 30,990 and will go on sale on April 1 in India from both offline as well as online channels. The F3 Plus is available in Black and Gold color variants.
