OnePlus has started rolling out Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based OxygenOS 4.1.0 for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The update improves Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and brings general bug fixes as well.

Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based OxygenOS 4.1.0 also brings the March Android security update for both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones. Aside from that, the new software update also adds a new feature to help users capture expanded screenshots.

The earlier OxygenOS 4.0.3 update to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T has brought with it certain problems such as Wi-Fi connectivity issues and UI bugs. However, the new update fixes most of these problems and also brings with it a host of other bug fixes and improvements, as per India Today.

The new update also brings with it huge improvements to the camera of both the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Update brings a new blur reduction feature that makes it easier for users to capture crystal clear images along with improvements in video stability.

According to Indian Express, OnePlus is also doing a survey on its user interface and user experience for the OxygenOS in order to make it better. "For those who were on previous versions for OnePlus 3T, we be grateful for your active feedback and attempts to reach out to us. With your help, we have been able to better optimize and get better on several key areas," said Tony L., OxygenOS PM, OnePlus.

As the over the air update will be rolling out slowly, it may take some time for the update to reach on your device. Once the update is available, you will get a notification on your device.

To recall, OnePlus had rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat-based OxygenOS 4.0 update back in the month of January to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Last month, the company rolled out OxygenOS 4.0.3 update for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T that had fixed two major vulnerabilities of older OxygenOS versions associated with the bootloader on the smartphones.
