LaVar Ball is the frontrunner for "Dad of the Year" for the support he gives to his three sons, Lonzo, LaMelo and LiAngelo. However, he has been making ridiculous comments for the past several weeks and Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr believes it's not helping his sons.

In an appearance on ESPN Radio's Waddle & Silvy, Kerr was asked about the comments made by LaVar Ball about his sons, Michael Jordan and a billion dollar shoe deal. The Warriors head coach thinks that the LaVar should shut his mouth and let his kids have fun.

"I don't think it's helping his kids. I think it'd be better for them if they can just play and have fun and not have to hear that every day, but whatever. It's all part of him," Kerr said.

Some of the ridiculous comments made by LaVar Ball include Lonzo, who is one of the top prospects in the 2017 NBA Draft, is already better than two-time MVP Stephen Curry. He also believes that Lonzo will have an easier time in the NBA rather than in college.

Another comment made by LaVar Ball is he can beat Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player in history, in a one-on-one game. He also started a feud with Charles Barkley and there is an impending challenge from the Basketball Hall of Famer.

The latest LaVar Ball remark is about the second greatest basketball player ever, LeBron James. The 48-year-old dad thinks that James' sons, LeBron Jr. and Bryce Maximus, does not have what it takes to succeed in the NBA.

One of the possible teams for Lonzo Ball next season is the Philadelphia 76ers but John Smallwood of The Philadelphia Inquirer News believes the team should beware of LaVar Ball. He pointed out that a parent like LaVar will give a team a lot of headaches and any team must have the patience to make it work.

But for now, LaVar Ball will be cheering his Lonzo in the NCAA Tournament. He also sparked new meme on the Internet called "LaVar Ball Says" that has entertained a lot of people on social media.
