Amid the snowstorm in the northeastern United States, the Oklahoma City Thunder visited the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center. Jeremy Lin put up 24 points, which was his season-high, but Russell Westbrook and the Thunder are too much for the last-place Nets.

Westbrook, who is one of the favorites to win the MVP Award, came out and put on a show in front of the Brooklyn crowd. He registered his third straight and 33rd triple-double of the season with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 19 assists, per NBA.com.

The Thunder got the 122-104 win with Westbrook leading the charge. Victor Oladipo, Taj Gibson and Enes Kanter provided additional scoring as Oklahoma City pulled away from Jeremy Lin and the Nets in the second half.

The Nets were looking for their first back-to-back wins of the season and they were off to a good start. The first half ended with both teams tied at 62 but the Thunder started the second half on fire while Jeremy Lin and the rest of teammates went cold just like the weather in Brooklyn.

Nevertheless, Jeremy Lin had a good game wherein he scored his season-high in points. He had 24 points, two rebounds and five assists while Brook Lopez scored a team-high 25 points. Rookie Caris LeVert continued his good showing by adding 16 points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals.

However, the loss and the weather is not the only bad news for the 12-54 Nets. According to CBS Sports, Sean Kilpatrick suffered a left hamstring injury in the first half and he will undergo several tests to determine its severity.

Kilpatrick's hamstring injury is something the Nets is very familiar with this season. Jeremy Lin missed 42 games this season due to a strained right hamstring. Although Lin has recovered from the injury and helping the Nets be more competitive, he is still playing under limited minutes.
