San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is known for letting his stars have it when they make mistakes during a game. "Pop" recently got into an argument with Spurs star Kawhi Leonard but does it mean that trouble is brewing for San Antonio?

In the third quarter of the Spurs' game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night, Gregg Popovich did not like how Kawhi Leonard came off a screen during a play. When the timeout was called, the 68-year-old head coach yelled at his star player, as reported by SB Nation.

"The Klaw" tried to argue with his angry head coach but he was put in his place. Does this mean that the Spurs are in trouble? Probably not, since it only made Kawhi Leonard angry and he exploded on the Blazers. The two-time Defensive Player of the Year viciously dunked on Portland's Noah Vonleh two minutes later.

However, the Spurs ended up losing the game against the Blazers, per NBA.com. Kawhi Leonard's 34 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks were not enough as they were defeated 110-106.

Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum were too much for the Spurs as the Blazers duo combined for 62 points and they played good defense against San Antonio. The loss also meant that the Spurs are now a game behind the Golden State Warriors in the West standings.

But there some good news for the Spurs as they own the tiebreaker against the Warriors because of their two wins against them this season. They will face Golden State one more time this season on March 29 at the AT&T Center.

Another one is LaMarcus Aldridge has been cleared to play after missing two games due to a heart condition. He was deemed out indefinitely but the Spurs got lucky that he was immediately cleared by doctors. He scored 19 points, grabbed seven rebounds and made four assists against his former team.
