Tyron Woodley’s disappointing performance at UFC 209 that followed his boasts of being “the best welterweight ever” has not stopped him from mouthing off, hitting, in a recent interview, UFC president Dana White, Michael Bisping and Georges St-Pierre. Growing tired of his employee’s incessant whining, White shot down the welterweight champion and reminded him who’s boss.

In an interview with TMZ, Tyron Woodley was asked what he thought of Dana White comments saying that he thought Stephen Thompson won the fight at UFC 209. As reported by Bloody Elbow, Woodley rattled off saying he thought it was distasteful for the promoter to say that he thought someone else won the fight. “That’s like me coming out saying as a fighter that I don’t think he didn’t do a good job of promoting the fight – which I don’t – I don’t think they’ve done a good job of promoting me as champion,” Woodley said.

Tyron Woodley added that he would be “a tough dude to deal with,” before ripping potential opponent Georges St-Pierre, saying the comebacking French-Canadian chose Michael Bisping because he was the easier fight. Prior to UFC 209, Woodley said he was going to destroy Stephen Thompson cement his place as the welterweight champ. The main event turned out to be a highly disappointing snoozer, with fans booing for most of the five round affair.

“Let me tell you what… When you have a performance like you did at 209 and you get booed for five straight rounds and then people are booing so loud you can’t even do your interview, you should just probably take your lumps and move on,” Dana White said when asked for a response by TMZ. The UFC boss added that as soon as Tyron Woodley understands that one guy in the company calls the shots, the better off he will be.
