The Undertaker is one of the greatest WWE superstars in history and his career is close to ending. The latest WWE rumors have revealed that he might be retiring at WrestleMania 33 and his final match is against Roman Reigns.

According to Cageside Seats, WWE chairman Vince McMahon has always wanted to make The Undertaker vs. Reigns for a long time now. He made the decision to move forward with the match this year because "The Deadman" could end his career very soon.

The WWE have already planted the seeds on the feud between The Undertaker and "The Big Dog" at the Royal Rumble. Reigns eliminated "The Phenom" and they had a long stare down after it happened. It should be noted that a lot of fans booed Reigns once again and WWE rumors point to a possible heel turn.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer pointed out in his latest report that the WWE is viewing The Undertaker vs. Reigns as the passing of the torch moment between a legend and the next face of the company, per Wrestling Inc. However, that will be hard to do with a lot of people hating on Reigns.

The long-term goal for the three-time WWE world champion is to be the next face of the WWE after John Cena becomes a full-time actor. The only problem with Reigns is that the WWE has screwed his booking so much that the majority of fans hated him for it.

Meltzer also noted that the WWE could turn Reigns heel during his feud with The Undertaker. A lot of adult male fans surely love the idea of the bad Reigns since they cheer the heels most of the time. It will not only replenish his image but it could finally get him over the crowd.

As for The Undertaker's retirement, there is a big chance that he might officially hang it up. He is set to undergo a full hip replacement surgery that will effectively end his wrestling career.
