Cricket Wireless, an MVNO owned by AT&T has made some changes to its data plans and it will give more data now. Now Cricket offers 12GB for $60/month.

Cricket's previous plans start with 1GB and go up to 10GB per month for a reasonably low cost with 8Mbps speed. But now it is boosting these plans for customers. Now Cricket is about to get more competitive with others.

As written in Leakite News, the $40/month plan has been boosted from 2.5GB to 3GB, a $60/month plan has been boosted from 10GB to 12GB. So, customers will get 20% more data than they are offered currently.

For the $50/month plan, Cricket was previously running a promotion that allowed to boost the data from 5GB to 8GB which has been made permanent now.

New increased data limits are not the only thing, now Cricket is also offering an exciting discount on several phones. Some of them are available to free if a customer chooses to port their previous number into Cricket.

Existing customers can get a discount for upgrading to one of the listed phones or by activating a new line. Here are some of the handset details as confirmed by Phone Arena:
