Blu unveiled the Vivo XL2, successor to 2016's Vivo XL. Unlike Blu's Life Max, this is a mid-range smartphone.

The first thing anyone will notice about Blu's Vivo XL2 is a shiny charming back cover. Vivo XL2 is available just for $150 and as Digital Trends writes, $150 for a midrange smartphone is an attractive price, especially for a phone that prides itself in being attractive.

XL2 features an inscribed micropattern onto the back cover followed by electrolyzed paint particles which give the phone a metallic sunburst look. The phone has a plastic body so the user needs to use the cover to protect the phone.

Vivo XL2 features 5.5-inch 1280 × 720 resolution display which is covered by Corning's Gorilla Glass 3. Not the body but Blu took care of the screen which handles scratches very well. There is 13MP primary camera and 8MP wide-angle selfie shooter.

Blu Vivo XL2 is powered by MediaTek's 1.4GHz quad-core MT6737T chipset and 3GB RAM. There is an average 3150mAh battery which is common in mobile of this range. But there is an uncommon quick charge capacity that charges a phone from 0 to 30 percent in half an hour and full charge in two hours.

There is a sufficient 32GB built-in storage which can be expanded up to 64GB using MicroSD cards. Vivo XL2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, it is not sure whether there will be an update for Android Nougat or not.

As written in Yahoo Finance, the original success of the BLU Vivo XL was attributed to its high-end phenomenal design, performance, and a focus on user experience. It became one of the best-selling unlocked smartphones of 2016. The New BLU Vivo XL2 has added significant improvements in technology while maintaining the same $149.99 price point.

Blu's Vivo XL2 is one of the best midrange smartphone available currently and like the previous model, this model is also expected to be one of the best-selling phones.
