Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to release around April of this year. There are lots of rumors about the specifications and features of latest 2-in-1. Here are some of them which make sense and very likely to be the truth.

Smart Stock News said that Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will represent a serious upgrade compared to its predecessor model, the Surface Pro 4. The year of 2017 could be a game changer for Microsoft as next generation of Surface devices will be released this year.

Surface Pro 4 is one of the best 2-in-1 devices available in the market but still there are some upgrades users wish to be added in Surface Pro 5. One of them is battery performance.

Intel has started rolling out Kaby Lake chipset and Surface Pro 5 will be powered by this latest processor. Due to the power efficiency of the new Kaby Lake processor, new Surface Pro will offer a long lasting battery life to users.

Surface Pro 5 is expected to come up with 12.5" 4K screen with 3D support. Microsoft might consider having super AMOLED screens instead of IPS touch screen. Expected storage versions are 16GB and 32GB with external support up to 1TB storage SSD.

Microsoft is more likely to upgrade Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and camera in Surface Pro 5. As written in Learn Bonds, Surface Pen support will be added to Surface Pro 5 and Microsoft Stylus will come bundled with it.

Surface Pen will be rechargeable and powered by AAAA battery. It will clutch with Surface magnetically. Stylus will allow magnetic charging by which it will be charge without any attachment with wire.

Microsoft's Surface Pro 5 is more likely to come up with Intel's 7th Generation Kaby Lake processor instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon processor to save the battery life. There will be three chip variants, Core M (dual core), Core i5 (dual core), and Core i7 (quad core).
