Los Angeles Clippers superstar Blake Griffin and New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony have been the hot topic of rumor mills as of late. Both players are currently being dragged to numerous trade deals that is swirling around the news. And now, both players are said to be included in a blockbuster trade deal that involves three teams and seven players.

Griffin, who just got to a knee surgery last month, is said to be on his way to recovery. He is now starting to practice with his team and could be back in the rotation this week. But upon his impending return, rumors are spreading that he could be traded by the Clippers as they worried that he will not re-sign with the team and choose to become a free agent to explore the trade market.

On the other hand, Anthony was previously being mentioned to trade deals before the regular season starts. Earlier reports are saying that he is not comfortable playing the 'triangle offense' that Knicks president Phil Jackson is trying to impose on the team. Now, recent news is speculating that he could be on his way out because of his frustration.

According to New York Daily News, Carmelo Anthony openly disclosed on Sunday that if Jackson wished not to have him wearing the Knicks uniform "that's a conversation we should have." It gave ideas that Melo might not end his career with the New York Knicks and could be on his way of suiting up with other teams.

However, Melo strongly repeats that he is not thinking of waiving his no-trade clause and will wait for the Knicks management decision on him as per stated in the report. But with a notion that he is not happy with his current situation with the team, one report are saying that he and Griffin are said to be engaged in a blockbuster deal with the Boston Celtics as the third party.

According to The Inquisitr, the rumored deal between the Celtics, Knicks and Clippers might be the biggest that will happen before the trade deadline expires if ever the trade deal pushes thru. Trade scenario is saying that the Celtics will acquire Blake Griffin and Wesley Johnson from the Clippers plus Sasha Vujacic from the Knicks.

On the other hand, the Knicks will get Marcus Smart, Jae Crowder, Amir Johnson plus Brooklyn 2018 first-round draft all from the Celtics. And to finally close the deal, the Clippers will obtain Carmelo Anthony from the Knicks. Looking at the trade closely, it will give different benefits to all teams involved.

The Celtics will have an essential upgrade on the power forward with Griffin but will suffer the loss of Crowder in the small forward spot. It is now the hands of Johnson and Jaylen Brown to step up if they want to claim that spot. Meanwhile, Crowder will consequently replace Anthony in the Knicks rotation while Smart and Johnson will be an added depth on the bench and the Brooklyn pick could be a steal for them.

Lastly, Anthony will give the Clippers an additional firepower on the offensive end. Having Melo on the Clippers roster will reunite him with best friend point guard Chris Paul so the issue of chemistry will not be a problem for both of them.

Will the blockbuster trade deal between the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers involving Blake Griffin and Carmelo Anthony pushes thru?
