'Sandlot' Actor Arrested: Tom Guiry Who Played "Smalls" In Classic Baseball Movie Tussled With Police At Airport [PHOTO]

You're killing me, Smalls.

According to reports, actor Tom Guiry, best known for playing the role of "Smalls" in the 1993 kids classic baseball movie 'The Sandlot,' was arrested at the Bush Intercontinental Airport in Texas this past weekend for allegedly tussling with a Houston Police Department officer and receiving a felony charge after headbutting him.

A recent photo of Guiry can be seen here.

Accoring to HPD, Guiry, 31, was too intoxicated to fly and United Airlines contacted the police on Saturday at 6:45 p.m. The police, looking to try to transport Guiry to the sobering center in downtown Houston rather than charge him for public intoxication, questioned Guiry, who quickly became irritated and beligerent.

Police say that Guiry, a New Jersey native, began to make threats at the officer, and after being warned that more threats would ensure him a harsher punishment, Guiry continued to threaten the officer before attempting to become physical. Reports indicate that police said Guiry then tried to kick the officer in the face, and after missing, he headbutted the officer instead. The officer suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Guiry got his name as a child actor in the 90's and is most noted for his role in the Sandlot, which came out 20-years-ago this past April, and still continues to act in movies such as "Black Hawk Down" and "Mystic River." He's also made some appearances on TV shows, most recently "Elementary."

Guiry, who stated he was a celebrity during his arrest for felony assault on a police officer, was released after posting $5,000 bail.

Guiry and his representatives have offered no statement on the incident.
