With the January transfer window less than three months away, Manchester United have already set their sights on potential Premier League targets. According to Metro (via Goal Transfer Talk), the Red Devils are working on a £60 million double-deal for Everton's Ross Barkley and Seamus Coleman.

Per the reports, Barkley is set to replace Juventus-bound Juan Mata, while Coleman will serve as competition for right-back Rafael.
Sitting fourth in the Premier League table with 11 points, United aren't in desperate need of reinforcements; however, as many as 12 clubs are within striking distance of the final Champions League berth. It would behoove United to continue to bolster their roster, something former manager David Moyes believes Louis van Gaal has done amicably thus far.
"When you can identify ability like [Angel Di Maria] for Manchester United, they have the resources to do that," he told Manchester United TV (via the New Zealand Herald). "Fees I never quite equalled, but they needed a big injection this year."
"[Ander] Herrera played against us three years ago for Bilbao," he added. "He's a talented young player and we scouted him quite a lot. He's quite aggressive for a lad who's not got a great frame."
Moyes went on to praise the defensive acquisitions of Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw and Daley Blind.
"I watched Rojo at the World Cup and thought he did well," he said. "He's capable of playing the left side or center-back. Luke Shaw we tried to get when he was 16. [Southampton] wouldn't sell him, but they always said we'd be the first to know if he did. He's a talented boy, good footballer and likes to get forward."
"Daley Blind is a common-sense footballer, a version of Darren Fletcher a few years ago. And Falcao is the one we're all waiting to see. He's got fantastic goal-scoring ability."
Expect additional praise to be heaped on the Dutchman's shoulders should Coleman and Barkley join the fray.
