The Cleveland Cavaliers are pulling out all the stops in trying to persuade the Minnesota Timberwolves to trade Kevin Love, including changing their stance on putting Andrew Wiggins in the potential deal.
T-Wolves Owner Glen Taylor Wants To Keep Kevin Love
It had been reported that the Timberwolves wanted "equal or more value" in a deal for Love and balked at trading him to the Cavaliers because they wouldn't include Wiggins, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, in the deal, but things may be changing.
According to ESPN, league sources have confirmed that the Cavaliers have changed their position and are now willing to include Wiggins in a deal for Love. Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor said earlier this week that he doesn't want to deal Love, but that may change now that Wiggins is a potential return.

The Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics have been in the middle of trade rumors surrounding Love throughout the summer, and Golden State even came close before the deal was broken up by the Warriors' refusal to include Klay Thompson in the deal.
The Timberwolves realize that Love wants out of Minnesota as he made it clear that he is tired of losing and wants to go to a new team in order to have a chance at competing for an NBA title. Not wanting to risk losing Love for nothing next summer, the team may indeed look to trade him.
The Cavaliers have been trying to land a trade for Love since they reunited with LeBron James through free agency, but a trade has hinged on the inclusion of Wiggins, the 19-year-old former Kansas star. James has reportedly reached out to Love, but a trade has not been a done deal yet.
New Cavs coach David Blatt has said the team won't trade Wiggins and addressed the young star's name coming up in rumors lately to reporters.
"That's why they call them rumors," Blatt said after a 96-90 Cavaliers loss to the Rockets in the Summer League. "Sooner or later, in one's career, you're going have to deal with it. So if he has to deal with it now, then so be it. It's the summer league. He's learning everything as he goes along."
Blatt also said that he doesn't talk to Wiggins about the speculation he may be traded.
"I don't talk to him about any of that stuff, because, for me, it doesn't mean anything," Blatt said. "At least not right now. You know, that's the beauty of these games: There's always something to talk about."
Love, who reportedly is willing to sign a long-term deal with Cleveland to play alongside James if he is traded, has openly stated he wants to leave Minnesota as the Timberwolves have missed the playoffs for 10 straight seasons, six of them with Love on board.
Now that the Cavaliers are willing to deal Wiggins, a trade to Minnesota for Love could come to fruition any day now.
