NBA Trade Rumors: Atlanta Hawks Thabo Sefolosha A Possible Fit For Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors used to be a normally good team that is playing in the playoffs almost every year. But since Steve Kerr became the Dubs' head coach, the Warriors instantly became a championship caliber team. They won the NBA championship on Kerr's first year of coaching.

Although the Warriors failed to win the championship last year, they set a new NBA record as they finish the season with a 73-9 win-loss record. They became the winningest team in NBA regular season, surpassing Michael Jordan's 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls.

This season, they seem like a more dangerous team because of Kevin Durant. Halfway through the season, they have a 35-6 win-loss record to claim the top spot in the NBA. They won eight of their last nine games including a victory over their greatest rival Cleveland Cavaliers.

Their starters are great as their have four All-Stars in their starting line-up. They also have good bench players which includes 2015 NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston and Ian Clark. But according to GOLDEN STATE OF MIND, Thabo Sefolosha of Atlanta Hawks could play meaningful minutes to the Warriors.

Sefolosha is the 13th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. He is averaging 5.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 716 NBA regular season games. He is a member of the All-NBA Defensive Second Team in 2010 and considered as the best Swiss play of all time by Swiss newspaper Freiburger Nachrichten in 2013.

Now on his third season with the Atlanta Hawks, he is averaging 7.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 38 games this season as per BASKETBALL REFERENCE. He also played alongside Kevin Durant in Oklahoma City Thunder from 2008-2014.

Sefolosha is a starter in Atlanta Hawks. But with the Warriors, he will be come off the bench. He could replace James McAdoo in the Dubs's roster, as further discussed by GOLDEN STATE OF MIND.

Sefolosha is a starter for the majority of his career. But being a bench player for a championship team like the Dubs might lure Sefolosha to play for the Warriors. Will the Warriors pursue Thabo Sefolosha?
