The NBA unveiled their All-Star game jerseys on Thursday, which teams will wear for the 2014 East vs. West clash that takes place at the New Orleans Arena in Louisiana on Sunday, Feb. 16
The uniforms feature sleeves with numbers adorned on the left sleeve in jerseys that mirror the controversial "Big Logo" jerseys that 10 teams wore on Christmas Day that received a lot of criticisms from fans, players and coaches around the league.
The East version is blue with a teal trim while the West uniforms are red with purple trim. The league made a statement about the jerseys and their attempt to unveil new styles to keep things fresh.
"Each year, we look forward to developing a unique on-court look for the players that pays homage to the host city and adds to the excitement of this highly anticipated game," Chris Grancio, head of global basketball sports marketing for Adidas, said in a release per ESPN. "This year's All-Star collection reflects New Orleans' festive musical history while also providing the premium performance elements that NBA athletes have grown accustomed to."
The NBA's official All-Star game Twitter account released a photo of the jerseys:

While a lot of players dislike the sleeved jerseys and find them restrictive, the NBA is determined to add the sleeved jerseys to the mix of uniforms that teams currently wear. ESPN reports that it is unknown whether the fact that the jerseys don't have front uniform numbers is a one-season experiment or a permanent fixture. The West has topped the East in the All-Star game for the past three seasons.
