WWE star and Cleveland Browns superfan The Miz has some fearless suggestions for the NFL Draft to come. If he were at the helm in the team war room, he wouldn't be drafting quarterbacks Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders with the first pick.

The Miz would rather set his sights on defense, with the Browns selecting Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter as the No. 2 pick.

The Miz's Game Plan: Construct a Defense That's Unstoppable

In an interview with TMZ Sports, The Miz explained his game plan for the Browns, which was all about constructing an unstoppable defense. He feels that a dominant defense would keep the ball from being taken out by the opponents, resulting in sacks in seconds.

In his opinion, a solid pass rush would shift the team's dynamics and result in more consistent victories.

Kirk Cousins Over Drafting a Rookie QB?

Along with prioritizing defense, The Miz said he'd prefer to trade with the Atlanta Falcons for veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins. Why? Cousins brings experience and consistency, which can add to a defense-heavy approach.

Although Cousins may not be the most dynamic choice, his leadership can stabilize the Browns to construct a defensive powerhouse.

Second-Round QB as a Backup Plan

Despite The Miz liking a defensive selection early, he's not entirely opposed to adding a quarterback. He broached the idea of taking a second-round quarterback and drafting the best-rated available prospect. This would enable the team to train a younger QB without the pressure of being a savior in the first round.

Cam Ward vs. Shedeur Sanders: Who's Higher on The Miz's List?

If the Browns do opt for a quarterback, The Miz admitted that he has Cam Ward favored over Shedeur Sanders right now. Although he would not be wholly opposed to drafting either player, his desire is certainly with Ward's set of skills.

But, if the Browns decided to skip Cam Ward, the Titans would be keen and "pretty solid" to draft Ward, but not the number one draft.

Other Possible Draft Picks: Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter

The Miz also said he'd be content with Colorado star Travis Hunter or Penn State's Abdul Carter. Both are defensive players and would fit The Miz's idea of a dominant Browns defense well.
