NFL Draft season is here, and the former Tennessee-Titans star Adam "Pacman" Jones is predicting something big—Travis Hunter goes No. 1 overall.

While attending Super Bowl week in New Orleans, Jones said that his former team won't take a quarterback as many speculate. Instead, he says the Colorado Buffaloes two-way sensation, Travis Hunter, will be the first name taken off the board.

Hunter, the 2024 Heisman Trophy recipient, has been college football's most dynamic player. A standout wide receiver and cornerback, his two-way talent is unparalleled. Yet, most draft prognosticators believe the Titans will look to select a quarterback first, considering their paramount need at the position.

Names such as Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders have been mentioned as possibilities for Tennessee, but Jones does not see it, according to TMZ Sports.

"He'll be the No. 1 pick," Jones stated matter-of-factly. "No way he won't be the No. 1 pick."

Quarterback or Cornerback? Jones Offers Opinion

Though Hunter has excelled on both sides of the line, Jones, who played offense, defense, and special teams during the beginning of his NFL career, is convinced his destiny is at cornerback.

"There's no way he can play 170 plays in the NFL, week in and week out, and practice three days a week," Jones explained.

Even though he favors Hunter as a defensive back, Jones hopes the NFL team that drafts him will give him opportunities on offense as well.

As for NFL Hall of Famer Marcus Allen, the Las Vegas Raiders should draft Travis Hunter because they would get "two players." However, that would change if the Titans targeted him during the draft day.

NFL Draft Betting: Should You Trust Pacman?

The NFL Draft is only a few months off, and bookmakers are already taking bets on who will be the No. 1 pick. Although quarterbacks usually control the top of the draft, Jones' prediction might ruffle the feathers of those hoping to put down bets.

With his explosive talent package and capacity to influence the game on several fronts, Hunter is definitely one of the most fascinating prospects in recent memory. The Titans could make him a franchise quarterback, but if there's a better option, the team won't hesitate to take a huge risk for someone.

CBS Sports' 2025 NFL mock draft says otherwise; Hunter won't make it in the top 5. Their round 1 picks no. 1 and 2 are Cam Ward and Mason Graham who are followed by Shedeur, Will Campbell, and Abdul Carter.
